This beautiful Classic sailing yacht has a wonderful pedigree. In her very early years, she was attributed to Harrison Butler, most likely mistaken for a Z4 tonner. Her design is rightly attributed to JW& A Uphams of Brixham, who developed her during and after the war from 1939. She is recognised as a prototype for the Waterbug Class of which 16 were built. Carmen has undergone considerable restoration in her present ownership, albeit around 2010, the last survey was made of her, in the main this has been mainly cosmetic.
